maxresdefault

If you want Buffet breakfasts and room service, this is definitely not for you, bed and breakfasts are very homey and casual with a sense of comfort when traveling on business or with kids, they have advanced since the period where people used to let one room in their house as a “Bed and breakfast” and their cats and dogs will be running around the house, like a typical home… Nowadays the typical bed and breakfast has a pool, entertainment area, braai facilities and even wifi, but they still keep the comfort and homey feeling… So this is what you can expect at a Bed and Breakfast.
  • Home away from home
  • no 24hour reception
  • Breakfast is shared with strangers/other guests
  • Noise making has a curfue
  • you are checked in and taken to your room
  • everything is explained verbally to you
  • you might have entertainment area and pool
  • no room service
  • you will share the house with the owners
  • there might be kids
  • very clean
  • rooms decorated differently (colour, decor etc.)
  • safe in yard parking
  • some rooms have fridges but sometimes you share a fridge with other guests
  • all rooms are en-suit
  • friendly environment
  • quiet and peaceful
  • safer
  • food is always fresh, because it gets cooked as you order
  • located in a suburb most of the time
  • the owners and staff will help you with directions and landmarks
So if you feel that this is the environment you want, then you should book yourself and family into a Bed and Breakfast.
